Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups self-rising flour
- 1 1/4 stick of butter
- 2 tablespoons finely sliced chives
- 4 ounces Treasure Cave® Crumbled Blue Cheese
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 400F.
- Place the flour in a large bowl. Then, using a cheese grater, grate the butter over the flour, tossing occasionally to coat the butter pieces with the flour until all is grated.
- Using your hands, press the flour and butter together until the butter pieces are smaller than small peas. Stir in the chives and sprinkle the Treasure Cave® Crumbled Blue Cheese over the flour mixture.
- Combine the buttermilk and sriracha and pour the mixture over the flour mixture. Then, toss the mixture with a rubber spatula to combine until all is moistened.
- Drop by heaping tablespoons onto parchment-lined baking sheets and bake for 12–15 minutes.
