¼ cup crème fraiche or sour cream, plus extra for garnish
¼ cup mayonnaise
3-4 cloves of garlic
5 ounces Treasure Cave Crumbled Blue Cheese
Zest and juice from half of a lemon (about 1-2 tsp)
Salt and pepper to taste
½ tablespoon fresh dill
3-4 ounces shredded Havarti or mozzarella cheese
2 ounces chilled caviar
Optional but recommended garnishes include hot honey, fresh chives and more lemon zest
Directions
Begin by spraying a medium baking or casserole dish with a light coat of cooking spray.
In a medium-sized bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream or creme fraiche, mayonnaise, garlic, half of the Treasure Cave Crumbled Blue Cheese, lemon juice, salt and pepper to taste and dill. Add to baking dish.
Top with shredded cheese and remaining Treasure Cave Crumbled Blue Cheese and bake at 350 degrees F for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from oven and let cool before garnishing with more creme fraiche, lemon zest, hot honey, caviar, fresh herbs, dill and chives.
