5½ ounces Treasure Cave Blue Cheese Wedge, crumbled
Black pepper to taste
For Serving:
Old Bay Seasoning
Treasure Cave Blue Cheese, crumbled
Thinly sliced green onions
Directions
Prepare the slow cooker chicken: Place chicken breasts in slow cooker. Sprinkle with Old Bay Seasoning. Add chicken broth. Cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender and easy to shred.
Bake fries according to package instructions.
Make Treasure Cave Blue Cheese sauce: While fries are baking, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add half and half and bring to a simmer.
Reduce heat and stir in Treasure Cave blue cheese crumbles until melted and smooth. Make a cornstarch slurry with cornstarch and 1 tablespoon of water and add to blue cheese sauce. Season with black pepper and remove from the heat, stirring occasionally to keep it from setting. As it cools, it will thicken to a gravy consistency.
Assemble poutine: Toss fries with half a teaspoon of Old Bay and arrange a medium-large serving platter. Top with shredded chicken. Pour Treasure Cave blue cheese sauce over the top and add more Old Bay seasoning if you like. Garnish with Treasure Cave blue cheese crumbles and sliced green onions.
