Heat the oven according to the pizza dough packaged directions. If using homemade dough on a wood fired oven, heat it up with fire to 700 degrees F.
Combine all the ingredients for the Treasure Cave Blue Cheese pizza sauce (heavy cream, garlic herb seasoning and Treasure Cave Crumbled Blue Cheese) into a small pot. Stir over medium heat to melt. Let cool and spread evenly on the crust. Option to add a handful of Treasure Cave Crumbled Blue Cheese on top for texture.
Combine thinly cut apple slices, cinnamon and brown sugar in a skillet. Put the skillet in the oven for 5-10 minutes to caramelize, stirring occasionally.
Top the pizza evenly with the caramelized apples, fresh mozzarella cheese, thin sliced red onion and more Treasure Cave Crumbled Blue Cheese.
Cook the pizza in the oven according to the crust instructions (if using store-bought
crust). For homemade dough with a thin, crust you can cook your pizza 4-6 minutes in your wood fired oven at 700 degrees until the crust is cooked and the toppings are melted.
Remove, slice and serve. Top with a drizzle of Pacific Northwest truffle oil and honey.
