3-4 tablespoons Treasure Cave Mild Crumbled Blue Cheese
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 sweet onion, diced
4 tablespoons fig spread
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon sugar
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Heat a skillet over medium heat and add butter and olive oil.
Once butter melts, add diced onions and cook, stirring occasionally.
After about 15 minutes, add sugar, salt and pepper, stir to combine and cook for another 15 minutes until golden and caramelized. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F and lightly grease a muffin tin.
In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese, Treasure Cave Mild Crumbled Blue Cheese and caramelized onions until well combined.
Unroll crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
Place each triangle into a muffin tin, removing any excess dough if needed.
Place about 1 tablespoon of cheese mixture in the center of each triangle.
Add a small amount of fig spread on top.
Bake in preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until rolls are golden brown.
