Ingredients
For the buffalo sauce:
- 1 cup hot sauce
- ¼ cup molasses
- ½ stick (4 tablespoons) unsalted butter
- 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/8 teaspoon granulated garlic
For the chicken patties:
- 1 pound ground chicken
- ½ cup buffalo sauce
- ½ cup Treasure Cave® Crumbled Blue Cheese
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon parsley, chopped
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- 1 egg
For the buffalo mayo smear:
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon scallion, chopped
- 3 tablespoons buffalo sauce
- ¼ cup Treasure Cave® Crumbled Blue Cheese
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 10–12 slider buns, toasted
- Green onions, thinly sliced (optional)
Directions
- First, make the buffalo sauce by combining all the ingredients in a sauce pan over medium heat. Using a whisk, stir the mixture until the butter is completely melted. Remove the pan from the heat and let the sauce cool.
- Then, make the chicken patties by combining all the ingredients except the canola oil in a mixing bowl, mixing until all the ingredients come together. Form the mixture into equally sized balls. Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Then, place the oil into the pan, followed by the balls, cooking in small batches as to not overcrowd the pan. Once the meat is completely cooked through, toss each chicken patty in a mixing bowl with 2 tablespoons of the buffalo sauce.
- To make the buffalo mayo smear, combine all the ingredients in a small processor until everything is combined.
- Serve the chicken sliders with thinly sliced green onions, if desired, on toasted slider buns smeared with the buffalo mayo smear. Top with additional blue cheese crumbles.
