Blue Cheese Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces Treasure Cave® Blue Cheese
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon. salt
  • 1 quart heavy cream
  • ¾ cup high-quality shaved dark chocolate

Directions

  1. Pour and bring the heavy cream to a boil in a medium saucepan, stirring occasionally. Add Treasure Cave® blue cheese, lemon juice, sugar and salt to the saucepan. Add blue cheese and stir until melted and combined.
  2. Chill the mixture in the fridge. Once chilled, prepare in ice cream maker according to manufacturer's directions. Stir in shaved dark chocolate and add remaining blue cheese crumbles.
  3. Freeze until firm. Serve in bowls or ice cream cones.
