Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup onion, finely diced
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 5 ounces (1 1/4 cups) Treasure Cave® Crumbled Blue Cheese, divided
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons Frank's RedHot® Cayenne Pepper Sauce
- 6 ounces beer
- Pretzels or tortilla chips
Directions
- Melt the butter over medium-high heat in a skillet. Then, add the garlic and onion and cook until they’re fragrant and translucent, about 3–4 minutes. Lower the heat and add the cream cheese, stirring constantly until it’s melted. Set aside 1 tablespoon of the Treasure Cave® Crumbled Blue Cheese and add the remaining to the skillet, along with the cheddar. Stir to combine. Add the Frank's RedHot® Cayenne Pepper Sauce and slowly stir in the beer. Heat until the dip begins to bubble, then simmer until well blended.
- Pour the mixture into a serving dish, top with the remaining 1 tablespoon of the Treasure Cave® Crumbled Blue Cheese and serve with pretzels or tortilla chips.
