Mince one jalapeno, toss it together with 1 cup of the Treasure Cave® Crumbled Gorgonzola Cheese and set it aside. Slice the remaining jalapeno and set it aside.
Form the beef into 8 thin patties. Top 4 of the patties with 1 tablespoon of BBQ sauce each. Then, divide the gorgonzola jalapeno mixture evenly among the 4 patties. Cover each with a second patty and press the edges to seal. Season the patties with salt and pepper. Then, oil and prepare the grill for medium direct heat.
Grill the burgers for 8–10 minutes, until they’re fully cooked, turning once. Toast the buns, cut side down, on the grill for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
To assemble the burgers, place the bun bottoms on a serving plate. Then, top each with 1/4 cup of lettuce and a burger. Drizzle with the remaining BBQ sauce, add the jalapeno slices, sprinkle with the remaining Treasure Cave® Crumbled Gorgonzola Cheese and cover with the top bun.
