12 (8-inch) whole-wheat tortillas
4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) butter, melted
24 fresh, large plums, pitted* and thinly sliced
3/4 cup chopped walnuts
3 cups (18 ounces) Treasure Cave® Crumbled Gorgonzola Cheese from Wisconsin
Preheat the broiler.
Brush the tortillas with melted butter, using about 1 teaspoon of butter for each. Then, brown the tortillas on both sides on a grill or griddle.
Arrange 2 plums on top of each tortilla to cover the surface. Then, sprinkle each pizza with the walnuts and about 1/4 cup of the Treasure Cave® Crumbled Gorgonzola Cheese.
Broil for 30 seconds to 1 minute, or until the cheese is melted.
Cut into quarters and serve.
*Fresh pears may be substituted for the plums when plums are out of season, using about 1/2 a pear per pizza.
