Beer Cheese Dip

Ingredients

1 tablespoon butter 

2 cloves garlic, minced 

1/2 cup onion, finely diced 

8 ounces cream cheese, softened 

5 ounces (1 1/4 cups) Treasure Cave® Crumbled Blue Cheese, divided 

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese 

2 tablespoons Frank's RedHot® Cayenne Pepper Sauce 

6 ounces beer 

Pretzels or tortilla chips

Directions

Melt the butter over medium-high heat in a skillet. Then, add the garlic and onion and cook until they’re fragrant and translucent, about 34 minutes. Lower the heat and add the cream cheese, stirring constantly until it’s melted. Set aside 1 tablespoon of the Treasure Cave® Crumbled Blue Cheese and add the remaining to the skillet, along with the cheddar. Stir to combine. Add the Frank's RedHot® Cayenne Pepper Sauce and slowly stir in the beer. Heat until the dip begins to bubble, then simmer until well blended.  

 

Pour the mixture into serving dish, top with the remaining 1 tablespoon of the Treasure Cave® Crumbled Blue Cheese and serve with pretzels or tortilla chips.
