- 8 ounces bacon, diced
- 1 large (2 cups) yellow onion, halved and thinly sliced
- 4 ounces (1 cup) Treasure Cave® Crumbled Feta Cheese, divided
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons chives, chopped
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Potato chips
Cook the bacon until it’s crisp in a medium skillet. Then, remove the bacon to a paper towel–lined plate.
Add the onions to the bacon grease and cook over medium heat until golden and caramelized, about 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Then, drain and set aside.
In a medium bowl, combine 3/4 cup of the Treasure Cave® Crumbled Feta Cheese and cream cheese and mix well. Add the sour cream, mayonnaise, chives, bacon and onions and mix well. Then, season with salt and pepper and pour into a serving dish. Sprinkle with the remaining ¼ cup of the Treasure Cave® Crumbled Feta Cheese.
Serve room temperature or chilled, and serve with potato chips
